The Duesenberg was first bodied as a Town Car in 1930 by Kellner Frères of Paris and shown exclusively at salons and shows for a year. The Duesenberg was shipped to the firm Carrosserie Franay to be rebodies with an extravagant sports sedan coachwork which debuted at the 1931 Paris Motor Show. The first recognized private owner was The Countess de Porceri also know as the “Queen of Diamonds.”
